Call for centers to join the ped-DTC registry

The ped-DTC Registry warmly welcomes paediatric endocrine and oncology centres across Europe to join at any time. Participating offers the opportunity to contribute to multicentre research, share expertise, and help improve outcomes for children with differentiated thyroid carcinoma. If your centre is not yet part of the registry, click here to find out how to get involved and start contributing.

Expert working group to plan 2026 research agenda

The Expert Working Group will meet in 2026 to plan the research agenda for pediatric differentiated thyroid carcinoma (ped-DTC) for the year. Discussions will focus on long-term follow-up outcomes, patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), and linked studies. The group will also outline upcoming collaborative projects and publications to guide research and improve care for children with ped-DTC.

Upcoming analysis of Ped-DTC Data

Over the coming months, we will be analysing data from all patients diagnosed with pediatric differentiated thyroid carcinoma (ped-DTC) between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2023. This year, we aim to publish our first article reporting on these patients, providing a comprehensive overview of the landscape of ped-DTC across Europe. The findings will offer valuable insights into disease characteristics, treatment patterns, and outcomes, helping to guide future care and research for children with thyroid cancer.
